Hi, although you are very busy, just wondering if you have had time to check out the current situation with potential changes to parental responsibility (tying in the ECM document) which is currently included in a no 10 petition:
"to remind his government that parents must remain responsible in law for ensuring the welfare and education of their children and that the state should not seek to appropriate these responsibilities." as well as current urgent 4 week dcsf consultation

Thanks very much, Julian, for drawing our attention to the unfortunate error we made in our submission of evidence to the NUT Early Years policy process. This arose due to a misunderstanding that occurred on our e-list; it’s so easy to make such mistakes when using this rapid-fire technology! We’ve written to the NUT with the corrected text, and are also correcting the website text. We in Open EYE are very appreciative of your writings, and we very much look forward to reading your future contributions to the cause of young children’s well-being that we all share.
Warmly,
Richard (House), for Open EYE

Well...it's nice to be cited, so thank you, though it is a little out of context. Whilst Natalie King Cole did manage the trick of duetting with her deceased father, I have not yet achieved co-authorship with someone who died 108 years ago. Kate Greenaway is the name of the Nursery School where I work, not the author I write with. If anyone wants to read what I actually said about Reception, it's on my blog at http://juliangrenier.blogspot.com
